PUTT Hits Back at PCMA

Last week, the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA), a trade association representing the largest pharmacy benefit managers, released a malicious, misleading ad attacking independent pharmacists’ salaries. This far-fetched ad claims that community pharmacists’ salaries are raising drug prices for seniors in Medicare Part D.

In response, Pharmacists United for Truth and Transparency (PUTT) is exposing the inflated salaries of PBM CEOs, the individuals who are really profiting off of rising drug costs. These CEOs are the middlemen in our health care system, who benefit from charging patients significantly more for their medications than they reimburse independent pharmacies.
